Central Bank Digital Currency Digital/e-money is a VIRTUAL currency with no physical presence; controlled by the Central Banks. It can be remotely programmed. For e.g., if your social credits are low, you may not be able to buy a plane ticket. Can we trust the Central Bankers with OUR digital money? Who are they? And if the system crashes, what then?
