Election phenomenon

The weekend federal election produced an unprecedented result that will send shock waves throughout the country...Despite Labors apparent landslide victory, there are some very disturbing anomalies that have come to light.
Firstly, the difference between Labors & Liberal coalitions primary votes was minimal with Labors 34.7% of the vote & Libs 32.3% of the vote only 340k difference between the two of them...
It was obviously all the left wing Green preferences and Teals that flowed the way of Labor for them to claim so many seats, 85 to 37... But the reality is only 34.7% of people voted primarily for Labor not a true majority.
Secondly, and most damningly is the hidden truth that over a third of the registered voting population didn’t vote at all, or voted informally... this has never happened before in these unprecedented numbers. This is the real showstopper of the election and yet mainstream media (legacy media/dinosaur media) are not mentioning it, let alone putting it front and centre of any reporting of the outcome.
This is why they have all but died... people are now looking elsewhere for the facts and real journalism not the hype and spin sold by these false prophet shysters to satisfy the globalists narrative.
The fact that over a third of the voting population of a compulsory voting country turned their backs on the establishment and rejected the whole process, instead rathering to get fined than participate in a system that promotes untrustworthy corrupt two wings of the same bird, lie after lie after lie, ripping people off allowing the big end of town to steal your wealth, it is definitely time for a revolution and the people are expressing it.
Sadly for us smaller party participants if those non & dissenting voters had chosen to use their vote and support any of us there would have been potential for significant change.
Regrettably though the powers that shouldn’t be have programmed the system whereby the majority of people don’t see the value of voting for minors or independents believing they will only be wasting their vote so better not to vote at all.
The fact the media only promote the left vs right, red vs blue, two choice paradigm and don’t give the small parties any airtime or exposure disables the ability for people to find out what the small parties really represent and the value in voting for anyone other than the majors.
Anyway, this huge none vote revelation needs to be addressed and until the system is majorly reformed and cleaned up this is likely to only get worse.
It is well understood that a certain amount of freedom groups were calling for people to not vote, because the system is claimed to be illegitimate...but that would only have made up a tiny proportion of the over 6mil who opted out.
This is way bigger than that, this is massive and shows huge dissent and dissatisfaction in the broader population.. Albo should be shaking in his shoes not lapping up a “Claytons” win.
The freedom parties to make a real difference need to look to strengthen and come together. It may well be time for an amalgamation of all the freedom parties and independents to stand together under one united brand like the Australian Freedom Reform Party to form a new party or coalition of parties to challenge the shit show.
Summary of my campaign
Given the shortness of the campaign which was approximately 4 weeks from when my nomination was accepted, it was a huge effort from many people who helped me along the way.
This was an exercise of continuing to get the globalist agenda out to the masses trying to awaken the sleepers to the realities of the globalist agenda and our two wings of the same bird parties being beholden to corporate interests.
It was an outstanding opportunity to really put some cold hard truths on the table about health and vaccines and toxic poisoning of our food supplies and challenge the indoctrinated narrative of the climate change hysteria.
I was blessed to have an ally in Wade Cox from the Trumpets of Patriots who didn’t shirk his words on the global agenda and the vaccine harms. Wade was great, we bounced off each other well in the community forums. Both Andrew Thaler(IND) and Richard Graham(One Nation) also aligned well on most issues.
Andrew certainly opens the door for broad discussion in any debate.. So really four of us on a similar page made it difficult for the Red n Blue n Greens who were sorely lacking and couldn’t talk on the globalist agenda issues.
The thing that really stood out was that both the Red n Blues were only focussed on sweeteners for the seat, like road upgrades and health facility improvements, free Tafe, where their offices were to be situated in which towns.
The proposed 25c reduction in fuel levies for 12 months, ute tax , all such peripheral stuff. No understanding or willingness to even touch on the core problems.. And people were lapped it up.
It was a great opportunity though to get people to look at the bigger issues and I could tell a lot of people were taking it onboard, what I and the others were saying.. I really think we out shone the major candidates in the forum discussions but that gets very little coverage or exposure regrettably.
Their were certain events that we the smaller parties & independents were not even invited to.
I thought I would use social media as a means of getting the message out, but found I was being shadow band & censored on most platforms, even denying me the right to pay for promotion, this was very frustrating but, like water off a ducks back really having experienced this type of thing over the past few years, it was no surprise.
The system is clearly designed to support the belief of there only being two options. I think next time we will have to start way earlier and find ways of establishing alternate networks of informing people...Independent media is obviously a growing mechanism.
It has been a great experience..
Thanks to all the wonderful support from all my army of helpers who stood up and did a wonderful job letterbox dropping and handing out how to votes during the prolonged near 2 week pre-poles in Merimbula, Bega, Narooma and Queanbeyan.. There were nearly 70 booths in the electorate which is mind blowing and when you consider the majors had armies of people like perhaps 700 across the electorate our small group showed a great presence in our region and helped get the message out, showing we are here and our policies are all foundational things every Australian can resonate with.
Thank you to all..
We are having a BBQ gathering to thank everyone with ChangoTree offering to play for us at Murrah hall or at Rowan’s place near Cobargo on Sunday 25th May so watch this space and pencil it in, in a couple of weeks time.
Special thanks to Jody McKenzie for pre-poling everyday and on Election day, like Wow!
Special praise to Lee Clarke for coordinating many helpers with the letterbox dropping and herself pounding the pavement to get them out there.
Delphine Trougher for her huge effort in coordinating poling stations and attendees
Ree Liddell for her massive effort up north in Narooma coordinating others and putting in many hours herself.
And all the other great people who helped out with coreflutes and handing out.
Michael O’Neil & the Heart Party crew where amazed at how good our support base was that came together for the cause, none of the other candidates had as much support as what I did , so I thankyou so much, we’ve all been together through thick and thin and still standing up uniting for the cause..
Here is a press release from McLennan Media.
Toni has done a lot of digging to ascertain these figures from the AEC who are trying to avoid exposing this radical outcome to the public.
All power to independent investigative journalism... the way of the future, thanks Toni

VOTER DISENGAGEMENT SIGNALS NATIONAL PROTEST
Australians have taken a stand – and in unprecedented numbers.
According to the Australian Electoral Commission website, out of 18,098,797 registered voters in Australia, only 12,660,489 (as at 5.31pm 8 May 2025)
Australians cast a vote at the 2025 federal election, which is a significant decline in turnout for a country that has compulsory voting (the AEC is unable to provide final figures until the postal votes are counted). Just as telling, 778,694 of those votes were informal.
This means that over 6.2 MILLION eligible Australians did not vote at all, and over three-quarters of a million who did vote, chose not to give their support to any candidate.
This is not voter apathy – this is a protest.
These numbers tell a story of growing public disillusionment with politics in this country. Voters are turning away from a system they no longer believe represents them.
This story didn't start at the 2025 federal election. In 2022, around 1.64 MILLION Australians did not vote in that election, and there were 500,000 informal votes. This means that a total of 2.14 MILLION Australians did not participate in the 2022 election.
At this rate, the only people who will turn up to the next federal election will be the ALP and Coalition volunteers!
“When over 6.2 MILLION Australians either don't vote, like in the 2025 federal election, or they put in an informal vote, this is not a glitch in democracy, this is a very concerning sign of a country crying out for change. The many Australians who didn't vote may have thought they were alone in their protest but it's important they know they stood shoulder to shoulder with millions of other Australians in defiance,” said Toni McLennan, 2022 IMOP candidate for Eden Monaro.
“Albanese teared up on national television, thanking the Australian public for the ALP's historic landslide win, but what landslide win, ALP's primary vote was only 34.76% compared to the Coalition's 31%, and instead of tears of joy, Albanese should be weeping in distress that over 6.2 MILLION Australians were so disgusted with the politics in this country that they chose not to vote.”
“Instead of slapping themselves on the back if they got elected or re-elected, I think politicians in this country need a dose of self reflection. Maybe these 6.2 MILLION Australians are sick of political promises that are never kept, maybe younger people are sick of not being able to afford a home and being left with a trillion dollar debt, maybe people are frustrated with the cost of living crisis, and maybe Australians are fed up that Senate Enquiries and Royal Commissions come up with recommendations that are never acted on,” Ms McLennan said.
It is time that our politicians stop ignoring the people they claim to represent. This election may be over, but the message is only getting louder!
Toni McLennan, 2022 IMOP Candidate for Eden Monaro and Founder of Hear Our Voice, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to gender equality in our parliaments.
